Imagine this…

You’re laying in bed at night, kids are finally down, and your partner is (frustratingly) snoozing peacefully in bed beside you.

You try to count sheep to fall asleep, but instead, you find yourself counting the number of tasks you need to do tomorrow (and remembering all the ones you didn’t get done today!)

Or maybe you know you should put your phone down, but you just need a M O M E N T of relief where no one is asking you any questions.

Or maybe you fall asleep easily, but wake up in a panic, multiple times a night.

And then you wake up in the morning to a child begging you to get out of bed, and the overstimulation starts again.

The taps from your child enrage you, the sound of your toothbrush is like a drill into your ears, and the beep from the microwave heating up your coffee again makes you cringe.

Once you’ve had your reheated coffee, you decide to try something new. You pick up your phone, type “how to fall asleep faster,” and the first search result says “reduce screen time.” You scoff, close out Google Chrome, and flip back to Instagram where you can zone out from the reality of your exhausting, overstimulating life again.

How hard was that to imagine?

My guess is, not hard. I know, I’ve been there.

Heck, sometimes I still AM there!

Hi! I’m Larissa, a sensory-based occupational therapist for overstimulated parents.

And I have two kids, they are 5 & 2 years old.

Sleep is hard to come by. Which is why when I DO get a chance to sleep, it can feel so helpless just laying there staring into the darkness.

Imagine how it would feel to close the door behind you after your children fall asleep, settle into a relaxing, enjoyable evening routine, and then fall asleep as soon as your head hits the pillow

What if you woke up to your child begging you to get up, and you actually felt like you could get up?

What if you woke up without panic to your child needing you in the middle of the night, and then settled back into sleep once they were back asleep?

What if you reheated your coffee only because you enjoy that cup of coffee, not because you were desperate for the caffeine?

Are you ready for this?

SAY GOOD MORNING TO…

“Reclaim Your Sleep:

A Masterclass for Exhausted Parents”

Your guide to controlling the quality of your sleep as a parent, even when you can’t control the quantity of sleep.

Get instant access to the pre-recorded masterclass today!

  • How overstimulation, sensory dysregulation, and sleep deprivation are related (spoiler alert: it's a pretty intimate relationship!)

  • Why sleep can be difficult for overstimulated, chronically exhausted parents

  • The sensory components of sleep, and how to support sleep from a sensory perspective

  • How to set up a bedtime routine that actually works, and that you can actually follow

  • Tools for those helpless moments when you’re just laying there thinking, “if I fall asleep NOW I’ll get 5 hours of sleep…” “If I fall asleep NOW i’ll get 4 hours of sleep…”

IN THIS MASTERCLASS, YOU’LL LEARN…

Sure you can keep chugging along, beating yourself up when you realize it’s 1:30 a.m. and you just spent two hours scrolling Instagram instead of sleeping, and then promising yourself you’ll be different tomorrow night.

But to make meaningful change in your sleep patterns (and therefore your daily parenting patterns), you need an armor of science-backed strategies that actually work, and that you actually want to do. (because I know, I love that late night scroll session too!)

  • A deep dive into how sleep and sensory processing are related, and how you can use sensory strategies to support your sleep quality as an adult

  • A holistic & practical approach to improving restorative sleep for you, the adult.

What this masterclass is:

  • A guide to sleep training babies or children (or otherwise getting them to sleep)

  • A general list of “sleep hygiene” tricks that you could google

  • Me telling you to stop using your phone after 8pm (because I know you’ll do it anyway!)

What this masterclass is NOT:

You’re a steadier parent when you’re rested. (and life is a lot more fun!)

Let me help you get there.
